According to CoinMarketCap data, the price of the Just a Chill Guy (CHILLGUY) meme coin, a Solana-built token, increased by 21.68% in the last 24 hours following two critical events.
On Nov. 27, the price of the meme-themed token rose strongly, defying broader market trends. The token’s price surged when leading exchanges KuCoin and Bybit added the CHILLGUY/USDT trading pair to their platforms.
Intraday trading volume for CHILLGUY increased 36.87% to $281.72 million, indicating significant market demand.

Major Exchange Listings Drive Momentum
KuCoin announced the listing of CHILLGUY in a post on Nov. 27, adding that deposits are now active and the trading pair is accessible. Bybit also confirmed its listing a day earlier, stating that withdrawals are available already.
The token’s price gains show its growing popularity, bolstered by the prospect of additional exchange listings soon.
Support from High-Profile Figures
In addition, the number one YouTuber, MrBeast, referred to the token as the “biggest meme of our lifetime,” creating additional attention. MrBeast’s endorsement via his official X account coincided with the token’s price surge and increased investor confidence.
CHILLGUY follows the trend of coins experiencing soaring prices following their listing on major exchanges. Meanwhile, this is not the first time the Solana meme coin has received big-name support. On Nov. 15, El Salvador president Nayib Bukele posted the meme on his official X channel.
His tweet spurred much discussion of the meme coin’s possible listing on Binance, which would improve its liquidity and exposure to a larger audience.
CHILLGUY Art Creator’s Concerns
Meanwhile, insights from the on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain suggest increased investor activity for the meme coin. A trader known as ‘sbfonchain.sol’ exchanged $1 million worth of WIF tokens to acquire CHILLGUY, demonstrating their belief in further price gains by the crypto asset.
Despite the optimism surrounding this token, Phillip Banks, the original creator of the “Just a chill guy” meme, has expressed concern about the commercial usage of his artwork. Hence, any potential legal action could negatively affect the project’s long-term stability and the meme coin’s price.
